An elepant is the best example of a memory that can work against you. Elephants captured early in their life can be chained to a stake that is only about three feet high, during their infancy. Later, when they grow to full adulthood, the same chain and tiny stake can keep them chained because of their memory. They remember that they could not move it and they stop trying. It is sad to remember an experience that holds you back, but acutually has no power over you. Don’t let old memories hold you back today.
